- The OSHA 10 Hr Construction Training course is a safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry.
- Devised specifically for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors -- the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.
- OSHA recommends the Outreach Training Programs as an orientation to workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
- When required by OSHA standards, Construction workers must receive additional training on specific job hazards
- Upon completion of the course, within 14 days, participants will receive an OSHA 10 Hour Construction Outreach DOL course completion card
- The 10 Hr Const course is NOT equivalent to the OSHA 510 or 511 courses and will not meet the course prerequisites to take the OSHA 500 or 501 courses.
- At the end of each module, you will be given a 10 (ten) question module quiz.
- You must score at least 70% on each module quiz to proceed in the course.
- You will be given up to 3 opportunities to pass each module quiz.
- Failure to successfully pass the quiz will result in being locked out of the course and not allowed to continue with an online training format for your outreach training.
Once you have successfully completed all of the modules, you must pass a 20 question final exam to receive full credit for the course. You must score of at least 70% to pass. You will be given up to 3 opportunities to pass the final; if you do not pass it after three tries, you will be locked out of this course will no longer be able to take your outreach training in an online format.
The 10-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program. Our course is designed to teach an entry level construction worker about workplace safety specifically for the construction industry. Students will learn about:
In addition to learning about safety and health hazards in the workplace, students will also learn about OSHA, employer responsibilities, and worker rights. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers to reduce injuries and save lives. Workers must receive additional site specific training where required by OSHA standards.
Students are automatically upgraded to a plastic DOL wallet card. These plastic cards are strong, durable, and won‘t tear. Plus, they are easier to carry, harder to lose, and fit into any wallet like a credit card or driver‘s license. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be shipped their course completion card within 2 weeks.
